Discover Chinese orchestral music with Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) - Singapore’s only full-time professional Chinese orchestra. Bring your loved ones to enjoy live music performed by more than 80 finest musicians.

Celebrate former Deputy Music Director Qu Chunquan as he revisits works of deep personal and artistic meaning from his time with SCO. The programme includes He Xuntian’s Capriccio of River Dabo, Qu’s Reverie at the Statue of Sir Stamford Raffles, and Gu Guanren’s pipa concerto Hua Mu Lan featuring Yu Jia.

A highlight is Liu Wenjin’s The Great Wall Capriccio, with erhu soloist Zhao Jianhua, who performed its 1982 premiere under Maestro Qu’s baton—a heartfelt tribute of music, memory and legacy.

1. Once sold, tickets are strictly non-refundable or exchangeable unless the Singapore government mandates the closure of events in Singapore. Conditions of Entry

1. Admission is subject to valid tickets produced at the entrance.

2. Each ticket admits one person.

3. Infants in arms and children below 6 years old will not be admitted, Children aged 6 and above must purchase a ticket for admission.

General

1. Mobile phones must be switched off or switched to silent mode in the theatre.

2. Patrons are required to follow all house rules and regulations set out by the venue. The House Rules are displayed within the venue premises.

3. No food and drinks are allowed in the venue.

4. The show duration will be between 60-90 mins.

Photography / Videography Recording Rules

1. No unauthorised flash photography, video recording or audio recording.

2. Non-flash photography with mobile devices is allowed. Please disable flash before taking photos.

3. Please note that photographs and videos of patrons may be taken at this event for use in our archival and publicity material. By attending the event, you consent to the use of these photographs and videos for the foregoing purposes.

Access

1. Singapore Conference Hall including the SCO Concert Hall is wheelchair-friendly and guide/assistance dog friendly. Wheelchair accessible seating is also available at SCO Concert Hall. Seating arrangement for caregivers and accompanying companions may also be arranged, subject to seat availability.

2. Patrons with accessible seating requirements, please inform SCO Box Office of their needs when they book tickets so that arrangements may be made at (65) 6557 4034 or email [email protected]. Patrons with mobility challenges are advised to avoid sitting at Rows L to Y in SCO Concert Hall.
